 Social and service club members worked hard to enrich life in the Clarinda community.  Some like the Girl and Boy Scouts still remain.  Others, like the International Organization of Odd Fellows, have slipped into obscurity.   

The Lisle Corporation began operations in Clarinda more than 100 years ago.  Thankfully it is still here employing Nodaway Valley citizens to make its valuable products.
